Brought joy to the people of vietnam who live in the mountains

We used the filters in the mountainous Central Highlands region of Vietnam, about 200km away from Kon Tum City.

The filters helped provide clean drinking water to people in the Trap and Bargook villages.

I think the filters are fantastic as they are very easy to use, install and are portable. Most importantly, they are also reasonably priced and good value for money.

Highly recommend the wateroam roamfilter plus!

WATEROAM PROVIDES WATER IN SUMUR BATU

The project is located in Sumur Batu sub district, Bantar Gebang, West Java. The people in the community are those whose economy dependent on collecting and selling garbage. They have no clean water. They used to buy from outside but now they do not have to do that.

Mrs Ibu can use the water for drinking and cooking. She is one of the ladies in the community who has been benefitting a lot from wateroam. Children can now drink more water

without their parents spending more of their hard but little earned money from collecting and selling garbage to buy water

Drinking water for In-Residence School in Bandaraban District, Bangladesh

The Wateroam Plus supplied to a School in Bandaraban District in Bangladesh supplies clean drinking water to 70+ in-residence students & the school principal & his family. All training for operating the Roam Plus was easily done 'remotely' through the youtube videos. The School found the Roam Plus easy to learn and to use.

Feedback : The delivery of the Roam Plus to the School was delayed because of the 'úncertainty' of the delivery by the courier company.

Highly recommended for emergency response

After Tropical Cyclone Harold hit Vanuatu in 2020, Our organization Sea Mercy worked with the Vanuatu Department of Water Resources to provide relief aid to the people of Vanuatu.

We deployed over 200 ROAMfilter Plus systems, together with water buckets, across 5 provinces. The filters proved to be a good fit for health centres, community halls and other centralized locations with nearby fresh water sources such as rivers, rain catchment and boreholes, and each filter supported 50 households.

The Wateroam were a big hit and the communities received them with great emotion. People were thrilled because they could immediately filter dirty water from the river right at the village instead of hiking for hours to reach springs. In some places, people wept with relief because they had been suffering with poor water and waterborne disease for weeks and months before relief had arrived.

We highly recommend the product for emergency response. And we’re happy to work with the Wateroam team, which was very responsive to our enquiries and provided all their resources for translation, technical support and also supported us in the post-deployment monitoring and evaluation. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
